Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano

It can be difficult to find a nice restaurant when visiting Las Vegas with children. There’s so much delicious food to be had, but many restaurants either discourage bringing younger guests or are simply too stuffy and upscale for children to feel at ease. At Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano, this is not the case.

Let’s start with the atmosphere at Matteo’s. In contrast to the elegant, more traditional decor of other Italian restaurants in Las Vegas, Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano has a more simplistic, industrial theme. It’s elegant but not overly stimulating. This is especially useful when dining with children. Let’s move on to the food. Matteo’s uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients in dishes that you and your family will enjoy. Matteo’s serves meals that will satisfy both adults and children. The majority of the dishes on the menu are authentic Italian, with a focus on the northern regions.

What distinguishes Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano as the best family-friendly Italian restaurant is that it is one of the few nicer restaurants in Las Vegas with such an extensive menu dedicated specifically to children. The children’s menu includes a variety of appetizers, pasta, entrees, and, of course, desserts. Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano is located on level 1 of the Venitian Resort, near the Opaline Theater. Matteo’s is open from 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Cipriani

Cipriani, which first opened as Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy, in 1931, is located at Wynn Plaza and is the Italian institution’s first West Coast location. A nautical theme pervades, with portholes throughout (even in the restrooms) showing a video of the ocean similar to the view from an ocean liner. Glossy wood pillars, terrazzo tile flooring, chrome accents, plush seating, and floor-to-ceiling windows with white curtains are just a few of the elegant touches.

In addition to the food and atmosphere, the staff, many of whom are Italian, has an Italian accent. Despite the fact that Wynn Las Vegas no longer provides free parking, your parking ticket for self-parking will be validated if you spend at least $50. The carpaccio is made from sirloin using a recipe created by Mr. Cipriani in the 1950s; eggplant Parmigiana, fried and baked and covered with tomato sauce and mozzarella and Parmigiana cheese; homemade potato gnocchi with cream and tomato sauce; and slow-roasted chicken “alla cacciatora” cooked with onion, carrot, tomato, and white wine and served with mashed potatoes are all highly recommended.

Finish with the vanilla crème meringue, which is light and refreshing after a heavy meal. The wine list features 200 selections from Italy, France, Spain, and the United States, as well as the Cipriani private label house wine, which includes Cipriani Prosecco Brut, and Cancello del Sole Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cancello Della Luna Chardonnay.
