Sae Ma Eul BBQ occupies the corner lot on Jalan Solaris 4 and is packed with patrons tucking into slivers of barbequed meats. In this restaurant, their spicy rice balls top the bill. The rice ball contains seaweed, pork, chili paste, and chili flakes. It is recommended that the rice balls be grilled beforehand to enhance their scent. Don’t forget to accompany your grilled steak with delectable melted cheese if you’re a cheese lover! There is a BBQ set that includes pork belly, hog shoulder, marinated baby octopus, and kimchi jjigae. The pork belly and shoulder are soft and flavorful, with charred bits along the sides. Almost every table at the restaurant would order this, which comes in crispy, seasoned, soy, spicy soy, fire spicy, or half-and-half options. Soy Chicken (RM48 – whole) is also tasty. You have the choice of having it boneless or with bone. Nanda utilizes ordinary chicken, whilst the other fried chicken place uses spring chicken, which accounts for the difference in meat texture. For some traditional Korean dishes that aren’t BBQ, Buldojang is the place to try. The popular items to try here are their TangSuyuk, Jjajangmyeon, and Jjambong. However, their fried dumplings are also a good choice. If you come with a larger group, then you get the chance to try even more of their amazing dishes. Buldojang in Desa Sri Hartamas serves decent jajangmyeon, it is apparently the go-to spot for Koreans living in that area.

The jajangmyeon here is delicious since the sauce is thick without being gloopy and the minced pork has a nice bite to it. Portions are also reasonable, with a large bowl of jajangmyeon comfortably feeding 2-3 adults. It goes great with some radish pickles because of the combination of sweet, sour, and crunchy cuts through the richness of the noodles. Tangsuyuk (Fried Pork with Sweet and Sour Sauce) is pretty good, with the fried pork slices remaining crisp despite a heavy coating of sweet and sour sauce. Spicy soup noodles are available in two varieties: pork and seafood. The stir-fried chicken with hot sauce is delectable. The chilies add a lot of heat to this one, and the surface is beautiful and crunchy. Buldojang’s pork fried dumplings are decent enough, adequately filled with a tasty mix of minced pork and vegetables.

Tender squid chunks boil in a spicy sauce with onions, scallions, and sesame seeds; it’s delicious. The Mo Dum Ku Ee is a delectable meat and seafood feast. The pork shoulders and belly are also excellent. It’s wonderful with the dipping sauce, with melty fats and soft flesh. Bulgogi translates to “fire meat” in Korean. There were plenty of beef chunks, mushrooms, carrots, onions, and glass noodles in the beef bulgogi. The steamboat arrives last, and the soup is really spicy (tongue-numbing). The seafood is very fresh. Dinner ends with a bowl of Sik Hae each and watermelon slices.
