KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer
Despite stiff competition, the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer outperformed the other mixers we tested. Because this is a tilt-head mixer, all you have to do is tip the head back to access the 5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl. The KitchenAid Artisan muscled through 10 minutes of kneading bread dough like it was nothing, and the consequence was a silky, glistening, and precisely blended ball of dough with almost no residual bits sticking to the bowl’s sides. When it came to beating egg whites, this electric mixer swirled more air than any of the other mixers we tried, and it only took three minutes. The end product was a large quantity of puffy, stiff-peak egg whites that could be utilized to make a beautiful meringue. When using the paddle attachment to make chocolate chip cookie dough, each ingredient was well combined, leaving no flour residue and only a few smears of butter on the sides of the bowl.
A dough hook, whisk, paddle attachment, and splash guard are included with the mixer. However, you can add up to ten more accessories to this KitchenAid mixer to make it even more flexible. A meat grinder, pasta maker, sausage stuffer, and other appliances are among them. On a lighter note, you can choose from over 40 hues (some of which are the same hue but are matte or shiny).

Cuisinart Precision Master Stand Mixer
The Cuisinart Precision Master Stand Mixer is a superb pick for all-around value at a reasonable price. Its robust motor can handle two loaves of moist, heavy bread dough, and it blends cookie dough and whips egg whites with ease. In our bread test, the Cuisinart effortlessly kneaded two loaves of dough in 10 minutes. It worked great with cookie dough, quickly and thoroughly combining all the components, and the chocolate chips blended in well. It also passed our whipped egg whites test with flying colors. The Cuisinart Precision Master Stand Mixer has 12 power settings, the highest of which provides a lot of energy for aerating things like egg whites or whipping cream. This stand mixer comes with a number of useful extras, including the “low” setting is actually quite low, which helps you avoid getting covered in flour when adding dry ingredients, and the 5.5-quart stainless steel bowl is the largest of all the mixers we tested. The bowl also includes a strong handle that comes in handy when removing a bowl of batter or dough from the base.
This set includes a whisk, a dough hook, and a paddle, as well as a frozen dessert maker, a meat grinder, a pasta roller and cutter tool, and a pasta extruder that may be purchased separately. Six colors are available, which is more than most mixers with only one, but significantly fewer than the KitchenAid selections.

KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer
The KitchenAid Artisan Mini is a popular stand mixer that, despite its small size, packs a punch. This model is 20% smaller and 25% lighter than our top selection, the KitchenAid Artisan, making it ideal for people who have smaller kitchens or don’t want to haul their mixer in and out of their cupboards. It’s also very stylish, as are all KitchenAid mixers, and comes in a variety of colors to brighten up your kitchen.
The fact that the KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer is smaller does not imply that power has been sacrificed. This model has the same wattage as full-sized machines, the same number of speeds, and can handle smaller quantities with the same thorough mixing process. This model has a cult following thanks to its compact size, which takes up less counter space while remaining compatible with the brand’s wide accessory line.

KitchenAid Classic Plus
The KitchenAid Classic Plus stand mixer is one of the most affordable KitchenAids, but it still performs as well as the most costly stand mixers. In all of our culinary tests, the KitchenAid Classic Plus excelled, whipping stiff egg whites, softly mixing chocolate pieces into cookie dough without breaking them, and kneading bread dough to the perfect consistency. When compared to its more expensive relative, the KitchenAid Artisan, this is a more basic model. It lacks features such as a splashguard and a bowl with a handle, for example.
With a strong 4.5-quart stainless steel bowl, a paddle mixer, a whisk attachment, and a dough hook, the KitchenAid Classic is still a valuable tool. Extra attachments from KitchenAid can be purchased if desired, allowing you to do far more with your mixer, such as grinding meat, creating pasta, and shredding cheese.

Smeg SMF03CRUS Stand Mixer
The Smeg SMF03CRUS stand mixer is impressive in terms of size, power, and design. With a massive 80-watt direct-drive motor, it’s a genuinely good-looking appliance for your kitchen, with the traditional Smeg styling that looks like it came straight out of the 1950s. It can handle up to 12 egg whites at a time and can generate large quantities of baked items in addition to simply looking wonderful. It’s also fantastic since you can switch between the 10 speeds to find the right action for whipping, dough, or batter.
There’s also the benefit of the numerous dishwasher-safe accessories that come with this gadget, which make cleanup a breeze. With its distinctive appearance, this Smeg SMF03CRUS stand mixer is an excellent option to other similar high-end models, and it even has a variety of suitable accessories you can buy to turn your mixer into a multi-cooker.

Aucma Stand Mixer
This mixer, Aucma Stand Mixer, is great for anyone looking for a capable, economical mixer with a huge capacity to crank out a large number of baked items. Its basin features a massive six quarts of space and three replaceable heads, allowing you to switch between preparing pizza dough, crepes, and cakes as needed. Another advantage of the Aucma stand mixer is that it features a splashguard, which means you won’t have to worry about those pesky clouds of flour and icing sugar splattering all over your kitchen counters.
The Aucma Stand Mixer also has a blue LED indicator that indicates the mixer’s power setting, as well as additional safety features to make mixing as safe as possible. If you need a cheap mixer, it’s a good choice, but if you want the variety of KitchenAid machines with their numerous available attachments, you will have to spend a bit more money elsewhere.

Oster Planetary Stand Mixer
The Oster Planetary FPSTSMPL1 is a smaller stand mixer than the others we tested, but it does an excellent job of mixing cookie dough and surpasses many larger mixers when it comes to kneading bread dough. We had great success kneading bread dough with this mixer’s dough hook.
The attachments orbit while the bowl revolves in this mixer, allowing all of the attachments to touch nearly every region of the mixing bowl. As a result, there aren’t any globs of flour or shortening adhered to the sides. A mixing paddle, a whisk, and a dough hook are among the usual accessories included with the Oster Planetary Stand Mixer. However, you won’t be able to buy extra accessories for making pasta, which some mixers offer. The splash guard and handle on the 4.5-quart bowl are included, and the mixer features a delayed start feature.

Hamilton Beach 6-Speed
The Hamilton Beach 6-Speed 63325 stand mixer is one of the few stand mixers under $100 that we examined. It does, however, lack a few features that would justify a greater price, such as a large-capacity bowl and locking attachments for further security.
The Hamilton Beach 6-Speed stand mixer wowed us with its power, allowing us to effortlessly deal with bread dough and cookie mix. Working egg whites to firm peaks took some time, but it was still a lot easier and faster than doing it by hand. There’s no splash guard, so things could get a little floury if you go too fast with the mixing speed, but with six settings to pick from, we think this stand mixer gives you a lot of bang for your buck.

Sunbeam Mixmaster 12-Speed
The Sunbeam Mixmaster 12-Speed hand and stand mixer is a wonderful choice if you want maximum versatility. Because this stand mixer comes with a removable mixer attachment, you can work with larger quantities or have greater hands-on control over your baking without having to use a stand mixer all of the time.
The Sunbeam Mixmaster comes with two tough glass bowls, but it’s not up to the job of kneading bread. This type just comes with mixer attachments, so it’s not a multi-appliance model like KitchenAid and Cuisinart. We appreciate that this mixer comes with a two-year warranty, which is better than many other models, and it’s also less expensive than many other big-name brands.
