Metropolitan Autonomous University

Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) is also one of the best universites in Mexico that can not be ignored. National Autonomous University of Mexico

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (NAUM) is Latin America’s largest university and one of the best universities in Mexico. Founded in 1910 by the then-Minister of Education, Justo Sierra, with the goal of creating a Mexican college of higher learning based on liberal ideas, it was originally known as the “Royal and Pontifical University of Mexico.”

Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo

In 1869, the Instituto Literario y Escuela de Artes y Oficios (Literary Institute and School of Arts and Crafts) in Pachuca became the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH), or Autonomous University of Hidalgo State.

It relocated to the old San Juan de Dios Hospital (established in 1725), which is now the university’s Central Building, in 1875.

The institution was shuttered multiple times during the Mexican Revolution (1910-17), but it survived. In 1921, it was renamed the University of Hidalgo, but in 1925, it reverted to its previous name.

Medicine, law, and engineering programs were established in the 1940s, and it was granted autonomy in 1948.

UAEH is the state’s oldest and largest university, and it is regarded as one of the greatest institutions in Ibero-America and Latin America. It is a member of the Consortium of Mexican Universities (CUMEX) and best universities in Mexico for postgraduate studies.

In the capital city of Hidalgo, Pachuca, it is separated into six faculties. Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos

Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL)

In the Mexican city of San Nicolas de los Garza, the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL) was founded in 1933 as a public research university. It is the seventh-best university in our list of the 10 best universities in Mexico.

Autonomous University of Querétaro

Octavio S. Mondragón founded the Autonomous University of Querétaro in 1951 as a high school and university that solely provided legal and engineering degrees, despite its origins dating back to 1625, from the Jesuit College of San Ignacio. Since then, the university has added additional programs, including the formation of the schools of chemistry and nursing in 1952. Later, in 1953, the Institute of Fine Arts was established, and in 1954, the School of Commerce was founded.

The schools of psychology and contemporary languages were established in 1967.

In December 1973, the Cerro de las Campanas site was designated as the main campus.

The school of medicine was established in 1978, while sociology was included in 1984. Veterinary science studies began in 1985, and both the school of informatics (computer science) and the school of philosophy debuted in 1978. On the grounds of the former Ing. Fernando Espinoza Gutiérrez International Airport, the institution launched its new language learning facilities in 2010.

Cerro de las Campanas, Amealco, Amazcala, Cadereyta, Corregidora, Jalpan, Juriquilla, San Juan del Ro, and Tequisquiapan are the locations of UAQ’s nine campuses. Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán

The Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán is the state’s largest such institution, and, without a doubt, one of Mexico’s best universities.. It includes six campuses, five of which are in Mérida, the state capital, and a Multidisciplinary Unit in Tizimn, east of Yucatán.
